It depends on what you want to do with it.

I’ll happily jailbreak it when it’ll allow me to transform it in a Steam Machine, but I might have to wait for a while as I’m on firmware 13.60.

Other than this, I have no motivation to jailbreak it since I want to pay for my games.

Depends on what you want to do with the jailbreak.

For a current gen system on which I want to keep playing newer games, I prefer to leave them as is.

Its great for older systems like PS Vita.

    Everyone has different requirements though.

I’m still on the fence about it as well. I’ve never even jailbroken my ps3 (i did install CFW on my vita though, but i have multiple vitas). It’s a waiting game atm with software updates still coming, but if there ends up being a way for gta 6 to be playable on a jailbroken system i might go for it, cause i don’t want to pay out the ass for a digital drm game. I haven’t booted up my ps5 in multiple months, so it should be able to be jailbroken rn.

It wont reset the firmware. Don’t update your ps5 anymore and in few months or years you will be able to jailbreak it.

Me too. I thought a factory reset would revert to the original version, but I see that’s not the case. Oh well. Lucky are those who can jailbreak it.
