Well, at least enough that you’re not relying on your partner to “fix you” or take care of you. It’s ok to be broken (I will be my whole life) but my relationships were vastly different after a few years of solo living and learning to take care of myself, and soon enough I found my wife.
The good relationship comes much easier once you’ve figured your shit out.
When does this figuring out of shit end though? I feel like the more I figure out, the more the mountain of unfigured out shit grows.
