    Not sure, if I missed it or you’ve left out paid services on purpose, but Kagi seems to be pretty popular.

    Currently thinking of switching from DDG, but not sure if the payment is actually worth it.

    Anyone wanting to share some experience?

    Edit: also SearXNG looked good and can be self hosted

      I don’t count paid services and services where you need an account.

      This is why I didn’t add https://metager.org/ and https://kagi.com/
      Theoretical metager don’t need an account but a key. But I see it still as an account

      I think there is where the definition splits apart.
      What qualifies as an account?
      Are paid services important?
      etc.
