“All my stupid friends are having stupid children”
Can never do anything anymore because they all have kids and are just boring. Guess I’ll make my own fun like I always have. Its a bummer because I enjoy entertaining and having people over and having events but no one does that anymore. Old people have kids and young people sit on their phones all day. I’m in the worst spot where I don’t fit with either of them.
For reference I’m of the age that DOS was my first OS so yeah its a hard time to make any new friends.

Some people in their 40s now have their empty nest (or welcoming first grandchild), they will start looking for new friends - you can ride that current!I don’t think anyone have it easy, relationships are 2 way streets and a lot of people think it’s just too much effort.
Yep very true, its hard. I find it especially hard just to find folks to “hang out”. Like we always have to be doing something or at an event. I wish i had some buddies who just wanted to play video games and chill or watch a movie.
