Full title: The “Infernal Machine” was a homemade 25-barrel volley gun used in an attempt to kill French King Louis-Philippe in 1835. The infernal machine was discharged from a window along the route of the king’s carriage, missing the king but hitting many in his ountorage.
Judging by the fact that the French King Louis-Philippe is dead, I can only conclude that it worked.
