I oiled it up according to the instructions, unfortunately it takes a month to cure.
I’m planning on putting polyurethane or some other film finish on top because the oil is quite dull as is. Maybe I’ll try burnishing it. I dunno.

I wanted to use things that I already had on hand for the project, and there’s no rush. I’m just impatient
