I think it’s largely more that most Americans don’t eat nearly enough fiber in their daily lives. But nearly every item at Taco Bell has quite a bit of fiber in conparison. This throws their digestive system way out of balance.
It’s not overtly racist, but the original “x food gives you diarrhea” joke is rooted in racism and it’s proliferated for all these decades because people like hack, cliche jokes for some reason.
I seriously doubt that it gives anyone diarrhea from it unless there is something wrong with the produce like we’re seeing now.
