US Senate Passes Bill Giving Children the Right to Plant-Based Milks in Public School Lunches

For the first time in the almost 80-year history of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), the bill will empower schools to offer a variety of plant-based milks to children. It has received bipartisan support, and was also approved unanimously by the US Senate Agriculture Committee in early June.
