Short-form content is addicting and it is working. In my country tiktok is blocked so the userbase is shifted to either Instagram Reels or YT shorts.
Personally I have them blocked on my revanced but at times I use shorts when I need some quick solution for something like shortcut to reboot graphics driver on Windows, a quick stretch to ease my neck pain etc.
I live in a city and it didn't map out every address here, like my friend's address for example. But I feel its fine because that way everyone's privacy is maintained and if I want to share my location to anyone I can use those unique links associated to my place. Besides that it mapped almost all of the public places and even has navigation built into it(which I thought wouldn't be available).
These are my initial impressions. Let's see how it fares up as I keep using it.
Be sure to know how you best can get your social battery full again
Yep that's a thing I am trying to figure out too. As of now, I think my social energy levels are coinciding with my body energy levels, that is, right after I eat my breakfast or lunch.
But in the context of a workplace – make sure it’s aligned.
Oh if it's work related, I'd be more than happy to talk.
In my post I am talking about the interactions we are forced to have during the breaks. And people don't like you talking about work during break too. At times, wish I could disappear during breaks. This is why wfh is so much better.
"Glide typing (only with closed source library ☹️) library not included in the app, as there is no compatible open source library available can be extracted from GApps packages ("swypelibs"), or downloaded here (click on the file and then "raw" or the tiny download button)" https://github.com/Helium314/HeliBoard#:~:text=Glide%20typing%20(,tiny%20download%20button)
In the app, you go Advanced > Load gesture typing library > Select your downloaded library.
Gemini would be only a system app right? Then I should be able to disable it too right? This is something Google app on your device already does I believe.
Recently I too have made a huge change in move towards degoogling and replaced Gboard with Heliboard. I never thought I'd be able to replace Gboard because I use gesture typing a lot. Heliboard doesn't come inbuilt with gesture typing but you have to import from closed source(?) data which is just a one time import (would like to know more on this one from someone more knowledgeable). So far, it has been great!
How is Duck AI then when it comes to privacy? I use it a lot.
