Every time I see some news from the USA now I'm beginning to wonder whether it's me that's losing touch with reality or the US. But it's getting harder to accept what I'm seeing and hearing.
I'm already tortured enough by existence. Why would I want to make an AI version of me so that someone can copy and paste 50,000 copies of a tortured soul?

Yes, in a very real sense it means that the Government can target their enemies with impunity. But in another very real sense it suddenly throws everyone over the barrier of having committed a 'crime' and may well remove any moral or ethical barrier one might feel in opposing the regime.
Thanks for the suggestion to use sm-player via freetube with youtube-dl -- It's been frustrating recently trying to watch the odd video on youtube (which is essentially a monopoly if you ask me).
