    There are ways to encode images that make it easier to isolate differences in cropping and resolution and rotation. Like how if you wanted to search for color filtered images you could just throw out the color and compare them in black and white.

When the dictatorship collapsed the guy who was in charge of the shell companies and Swiss bank accounts and keeping track of the shrink wrapped pallets of $100s buried in the jungle just kept it all, and became a private equity fund. (typical private equity origin story)

    He bought Del Monte with debt and then transferred all the debt to Del Monte once he owned it, then his creditors who are in on it resold the debt to retail investors and pension funds as AAA recession-proof revenue from a 100 year old canned food company, and now he has Del Monte declare bankruptcy to fuck them.

  • If you actually read the thing it's fine. It just requires phone manufacturers include a parental control function that is CAPABLE of those limits built in without charging extra for it. The parents still have to turn it on and can exempt apps from it or not set it up at all.

    The most "authoritarian" part is online services with recommendations are "encouraged" (not actually required) to set up separate age algorithms. Algo for 3 year olds they recommend to be mostly audio and not ADHD video, algo for 8 year olds educational only, 12 year olds "positive" entertainment, 16 year olds "age appropriate". And they want app store recommendations to not advertise lootbox games at kids.
