  • Ah ok...yeah there was a full length movie I got off someone on LAN, after I saw the short clips, with him doing the bike stuff but also driving around in his Subaru (I think?) even getting away from a helicopter. But I don't know whether that was actually him or another random driver that got included. It was in Sweden so possibly him...

  • I think he did do at least one or two videos in a car, or was that a copy cat?

  • Heat iirc, they changed design with latest Zen cpu models, flipping the layout, which would also translate to x3d models coming to laptops. But it's just the most expensive models for now nothing really mid rangey

  • Oh I see, dunno why my mind went straight to them slapping it on EAs platform 😆

I tried the free run for all of 30min, seems alright...better than what it was at release from my own perspective. Won't get to properly try til Sunday. I'll look up your post then see if you still have a key left and come up with a joke.

  • Aw, if only I cared enough about PoE to download and log into whatever EA game manager is. Guess I'll wait for the release in 6 years. Anyway nice gesture!

  • Canadian Geese like to drop air strikes on unsuspecting victims.

Was walking down the street somewhere and there was this older couple ahead of me, I noticed three geese flying towards us above and if that couple walked just a bit faster they wound have been minced meat. (Poop landed just a couple of meters ahead of them, don't think they saw geese drop it as they appeared a bit shocked)

  • The amount of kids or at most early teens riding these around without any concern for the smalldick-sized-NA-cars makes me think we'll see an uptick in deaths on the road real soon.

That being said screw all the fuckwits who race electric-anything on the dykes along rivers without a care despite no motor vehicles being allowed there. Assholes kick up loads of dust that you somehow need to avoid by covering your face with shirt/whatever you have and endanger everyone around them including regular cyclists and dogs.

  • Price has more or less doubled before any tariffs were even announced (at least in BC), so it's not just about US but also the corporate greed here.

  • Boring straight lines; easiest (cheapest) way to add infrastructure (not just roads, think water, sewage etc as well)....it's all over NA, so why not in a popular tourist destination. Perhaps to attract some foreign investment into housing? It's just far from finished. Wouldn't be surprised if it was too expensive for locals already and not interesting enough for foreigners at whatever the price point is. So there you have whatever the municipality approved already, pushing to have an extended road built with few side roads, since it would be crazy inefficient to do few meters at a time, and once you have the main road, you can easily add onto it.

About the curved bit mentioned - likely gonna be more expensive housing where rich folks don't have to look at the road/neighbours fence but instead their private little pond/lake. The name of the business next road over tells you all you need to know ("Villas Dubai" lmao)

  • Of those currently affected, Valve would probably be the only ones who could potentially take them on with their lawyers. But that would completely depend on the contract they have with Visa/MC. And even if they did have a leg to stand on, where they think Visa/MC is in breach of contract, I doubt we would find out for quite some time, before they get all their legal "ducks in a row".

  • Why can't you just go there to watch the guys toss fish between them (and drop it sometimes)? Imo it's also a fun option....I guess you can buy that too if you feel like walking around with a fish.

  • Thanks, had a quick look but will have to check it out properly later. Added a little habanero there to the left of picture (store bought for 3.99 so thought why not) but it needs replanting so it will be good to find some more info.

  • Yeah, I wasn't sure we'd get anything at all (not even flower buds) but was happy to at least see a plant grow. Then it all started getting "crazy" say maybe about 2 months back, where they picked up the pace in growth . Took some time for warmer weather to come to Lower Mainland BC and the inside temperature didn't much matter...

I'm sure you'll be fine and will have as much fun watching yours as we do. Though I did have a little scare when a few flower buds fell off as I tried to gently "shake" the plants every so often to help pollination, but upon inspection realized they must have died off even before as the part attaching them to the plant was dried up, so I assume that those specific flowers never did get pollinated and the plants were just getting rid of them.

  • Nice!

Planted these in the winter/late autumn and thought nothing would come out of them but here we are as well.

  • Bought it on Android with rewards funds to share it with wife, so she would stop using the goddamn Duolingo and the stupid game it pushes as an advert. But hey, wouldn't mind trying it on PC in multiplayer with her I guess

  • The wire/metal holding it needs to be springy and bobbing back and forth to generate the momentum, duh.... Half-assed implementation I say.

  • Or the odd Embraer - I know fuck all about them but at least it's not boeing
