  • I have bad news about comick, they shut down because they got a copyright complaint where cloudflare handed over their personal details so they had to shut down

    So lesson learned here, don't use your personal details anywhere that's involved in scanlation if you're involved with that and learn good PII security

    I'm just speculating here but it was probably most likely kakao or some other korean company like them

    Because Manga publishers aren't actually aggressive like kakao and other korean publishers

    Yes mangadex recently got hit with a dmca by a Japanese publisher but its very rare and there's rumours kakao did some convincing to whatever Japanese publisher it was probably in bad faith
