  • They've not learned from past issues, I have a Lexus hybrid from 2008 and a known issue with them is that the 12v battery will die if the car is left to sit for more than 2 weeks.

    Reading the article it seems like the problem has gotten much worse as the new EVs rely on the 12v batery for more electronics.

    I've had the car 3 years and I'm on my second battery. If they dig into this properly it will go back a lot further than the 20s.

  • Not just Canada, there's similar stories for a lot of nationalities, every country should be putting out warnings.

    The US has lost it's mind.

    Couple the immigration issues with the fact that planes keep falling out of the sky in their air space due to air traffic control being gutted and even flying to Canada starts becoming dangerous too.

    I'll be avoiding the whole of North America for the foreseeable future, it's just not safe.
