Hi! I'm Katherine, or webkitten. I've been on the internet since our family got our first computer - a Tandy Sensation.

Yes, I went to computer camp as a kid and learned how to program BASIC on Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 4.

I'm trans, queer, and bisexual. #actuallyautistic

I started programming with PHP in the mid 90s and haven't stopped. I'm an advocate for the open web; I used Netscape as long as I can remember.

I have an obsession with Hello Kitty, Moogles, and Squishmallows.

  • But I don't trust the CEO at all.

  • I'm definitely not brave enough to upgrade to a beta yet but I can't wait until it's released; hoping an upgrade from 22.2 goes smoothly!

  • A reminder of television trying to whitewash racism and slavery into two good old boys from the south.

  • #3 with one cat on the shoulder and the other behind the knees.

  • But one of those was WCW vs nWo: World Tour and that was all that mattered.

  • Going to Toys R Us and bringing the paper slip for Goldeneye, bringing it to the checkout, and waiting for them to get the game was the best experience.

  • Computer equipment from my childhood being on display as museum pieces/antiques.

    This is the bad place.

  • Hi, spez.

  • Captain Raymond Holt approves of this.

  • Tiktok US deal; this is just for the US users. Tiktok global doesn't change.

Essentially the US just siloed all the US users together and cut them off from the rest of the world and they're about to find out just how little of the US were on Tiktok.

  • I don't understand why they need GenAI for placeholders; part of the fun of the creative process is coming up with fun, crude drawings that are clear placeholders.

  • Anything Snow Leopard and before > Linux Mint > Current macOS.

  • I'd say probably The Adventures of Tintin just because it has the nostalgia value of not just being a show from my childhood but also memories of watching it every Sunday morning at my dad's house (he had HBO so it was rare to see it).

  • Yeah, I misread the credits thinking it was a year. But the picture is still great. :)
