  • Probably a decent life span of a cyber truck too...

  • As someone who remembers the 90s...why would you ever put a meme on a car? A meme almost never lasts a year and a well made car...oh...

  • Based on the time of year I'm trying fit "hens a' laying" into 12 days of Christmas...

  • Yes... That's the joke. I doubt anyone plays a rpg by mail either....

  • I play by mail so it's damage by strike...do you have another meaning?

  • Make it have an insanely high damage, like 50, 000 dps but since he soon learns a sword is useless if you can't swing it. Bonus points if he gives up his primary weapon to get the up sword so when he learns it's useless he has no weapon

  • I mean Elon Musk is an asshole but is this really an issue? I mean there were the yellow pages which basically doxxed everyone technically...

  • What's even worse is when you have to go through a third party to buy from grainger.

A previous company wanted to increase their "diversity" which I agree with but rather than actually hiring diverse people or anything actually helpful they decided we could only purchase easily through this company. It was made very difficult to purchase from anyone else.

We needed 5 gallon buckets periodically. We used to buy them for 2.68 per bucket and 1.57 for lid. We used about 10 per year. Through this new company it was 87.10 for a 10 pack.

Worse what you had to do is go onto grainger.com find the item you wanted, go to their website, put in the grainger part number, some point typically within 72 hours you would get an email with a quote, go back to their website enter the quote number, purchase the item, and the item would arrive in a grainger box. But since you didn't buy it from grainger the "to" entry on address label was for who ever made the quote. So you had to go to the warehouse and ask if there was any packages. They would ask for the po number and then have to manually check all the packages for that number in the attn field of address labels. There was about 1000 employees in the building.

They wanted to use that company as it was "diversity owned" so they could claim most of their purchases were from "a diverse owned company"

  • My cats

  • Plenty of printer ink... Ran out of printer ink.... Oh you bought more printer ink

  • Same can be said of let the bodies hit the floor and it's raining men

  • Personally I would prefer ham or bacon but I can deal with chicken...

  • What I don't get is why do it at work? Like ok, sure you may not be able to control what you enjoy but it was a credit union... "oh yeah this annual financial report got me so horny I got to go commit a federal crime in the bathroom"... Wtf???

  • He's doing it backwards. If you try to fail either you succeed in or you succeed... You can't lose!

  • No, duct tape is meant for air ducts. Duck tape is just a brand name trying to make money off people's ignorance. It's high temperature resistant and resistant to tearing sideways(easier to tear length wise).

Otherwise, what? You thought they needed tape to hold ducks in place? Or maybe hold them together?

  • Years ago, almost two decades, I setup a Screensaver which basically took any image passed over the network and made a collage. Almost everything was like website banners and such.

One day I was in the server room doing something un-related and in the corner of my eye I saw some horrible images on the other screen. I immediately went to the cto who called the police.

Long story short he was immediately fired(and taken into custody) after being found in the bathroom... The images were kids between 3-7...

Before people ask, we could find out which access point he was using to determine approximate area. A quick walk around showed it wasn't someone at there desk. Obviously they wouldn't be in a meeting and there was only 1 set of bathrooms in that area. Female officer went into women's room and reported it empty. Male officer went into men's room and found 1 person, court case revealed history on his phone and yeah... Hopefully he's still rotting in jail.

  • One big thing is wd-40 is not meant for rusty items. It's a water displacer.

Also there is a difference between duck tape and duct tape...

  • Actually you may still be able to test for covid. The home tests don't test for covid directly, they test for the antibodies your body makes to fight covid. If you had covid you probably still have enough antibodies to be detected.

  • I'm not creative... Its virtual (real life initials)
