  • I don't understand the hate against Seagate. I've only had Seagate in my PCs and none have failed for me in the span of almost two decades. In fact, the first ones I had are still around not having failed yet.

  • Great insight actually. And I feel like this is human nature unless you teach the value and/or fun of learning at an early age.

It's fun to be good at something. And it can be fun to walk the journey of getting to that point.

  • Brilliant! 👏🧠

  • Thanks so much for this.

So like, I'm looking to spend at least $15/month unless I can get a discount via a promo code? Might as well start paying for Netflix at that point. Right now I'm running up $0/month with access to anything I want at top speeds for my high speed connection. I don't know if using Usenet is worth it for my situation.

  • Right, I wasn't. I was just saying I love ma moms and I don't want her to die ever, but that generation needs to go for the betterment of mankind, hopefully. (Probably not though.)

  • Thanks for the insight

  • Thanks, I appreciate it!

  • Thanks!

  • Oh noooo no no no. Totally not what I'm saying. Their generation fucked us. For sure.

  • Right, so nuclear should probably be sort of a filler during a period of low output from renewables, I guess?

  • This title though. I thought I was in c/theonion

  • How do I get started with Usenet? I'm on a private tracker right now which has excellent speeds (maxes out my 500 Mbit connection usually, so I can't tell what speeds I might achieve if fully utilized), but it would of course be nice not having to seed.

  • One thing nuclear energy has over wind and solar is that it's very reliable. Cloudy day? No wind? No electricity, or much less anyway.

Water turbines in a dam seems to be quite reliable, even though it varies with the seasons of course, but more reliable than wind at least.

  • Dang, these e-ink displays are getting really good these days

  • Huh.

    Alright.

  • Let's hope they didn't quit their job for this.

  • Ah right, here's to that 🍻

Except my momma whom I'll miss dearly 😭

  • if it were, I lost.

Same. Intentionally. I need some me time sometimes.

  • I'm really lost on the funny in this. Why is the grandma in the trunk of the car in the first place? Am I missing a premise? A previous strip of which this is a continuation? Like... 😮‍💨
