  • Perfect timing. I wonder how this might conflict with Poilievre as he’s drawing plans to campaign against EV mandates pending his byelection results.

  • Microsoft really doing everything in their power to make sure I never buy another Windows PC.

  • Would that make people on the Epstein list “chomies”?

  • Raise a glass with your elbows up!

  • Would upgrading to an aftermarket display system be capable of avoiding this?

  • I was getting extremely strong X Japan Kurenai vibes from HAYASii to the point that you can actually play both tracks side by side and they almost line up. So good!

  • I prefer to follow the “half your age + 7” method in finding out the youngest age of maturity your partner should be.

  • I talked about the difficulty of unscrambling our US supply chains, but the reality is we can’t just transpose all that trade overnight—and say, all right, we’re now going to redirect that volume to France, England, South Korea, and Japan. It doesn’t work like that. We need to build that capacity up, and that takes time. It will also literally require physical infrastructure like the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 at the Port of Vancouver or Contrecoeur at the Port of Montreal. These projects have been in the works for over a decade but are only now clearing permitting hurdles. There’s still a number of regulatory steps before construction can even start.

Emphasis mine. This sounds like administrative hell.

  • Cool, thanks for the follow-up!

  • Since when did the word “statue” now also mean “trophy” and/or “award”?

  • Like nutty flavour-wise or nutty texture?

  • Has anyone tried one of those pistachio chocolate bars? I don’t think I’ve seen them around where I am, but they look interesting.

  • When stores started marking up the “regular” price to hit bigger percentages is about when I started price tracking things I knew I’d buy later down the road. Looking at you, Best Buy!

  • I periodically keep tabs on new HDD prices in my area. Black Friday hasn’t had the same deep discounts it once did.

  • Keep in mind advanced manufacturing doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll translate into “many” jobs.

  • If I keep giving silent eulogies in the kitchen, she’s bound to come around.

  • Seafood is part of her culture originally being from a port city, which is fine for me. I personally don’t eat crab just for “ethical” reasons, but also because overall it’s a lot of work for little payoff. Like you said, I just find something else to eat.

  • My wife always has this guilty look if I’m in the room when she steams crabs. I’m probably going to advocate for this method going forward for all of our sakes, but damn if this isn’t still a cruel way to treat another organism you’re about to consume.

  • I’m just glad to have held out long enough to upgrade for something designed to handle the new glass UI.
