  • The iPad is a great ultra-light and portable device for drawing, document annotation, and reading/media consumption. Overall it excels at viewing tasks that require little-to-no text input.

I know that some people swear by yoga-style laptops, but I just see that as a novel liability by subjecting your device to extra external stresses. At the end of the day it’s just a tool, and if it doesn’t fit your workflow don’t use it.

  • It’s already hard enough to get people to donate even $20 towards fediverse projects like Lemmy or Mastodon.

  • If he does lose his position as leader, he’ll still maintain his position as MP, right? I’d be shocked if he abandoned his step-stool constituents.

  • Scavenger’s Reign and Infinity Train died via HBO Max. I think these shows would fit so well in Apple’s growing sci-fi portfolio.

  • My hope is this translates into Canada strengthening its position as a global scientific research hub as the US drains their talent pool.

  • Plug the nostalgia into my veins!

  • Eh, design trends ebb and flow. I think the complaints are overblown.

  • Missing the link to the article, kind sir.

  • Loved the product video!

  • Cool? But by your own words this is literally meaningless.

  • That’s too bad. I thought Chris played a fun Kirk, but really it wouldn’t have been the same without Anton Yelchin.

  • I think a lot more people here are more sympathetic for Albertans than we’re given credit for. We all watched the run-up to the Battle River-Crowfoot federal by-election, and can clearly see there are lots of people that care for their neighbours and are working hard to break the mould.

  • Refreshingly for a big-budget fantasy show, The Witcher will bow out with its story complete, rather than at some dissatisfying midpoint due to an unceremonious cancellation. And though viewers will be seeing a final season of monsters, magic, mages, swords, skulduggery and swearing next year, the final two seasons were filmed back to back, meaning after the evening’s shindig, that’s that.

Glad to know I can finish the show with a proper ending, whatever that entails.

  • Unless I’m missing something I only see a paragraph.

  • I got my first pair replaced, but the right ear is crackling again about a year later and it pisses me off to no end.

  • That’s probably my biggest gripe with the app right now. Fingers crossed that they decouple next year.

  • It’s come a long way to finally being good. This ain’t your grandpa’s orchard variety map.

  • Comedy is dead, this isn’t even satire.

  • Love and Peace!

  • He instructed him to withdraw money from his accounts, telling him a courier would then pick up the money from his apartment and it would be kept safe until the investigation wrapped up.

The scammer also said it was imperative Ray not tell anyone, as it could jeopardize the investigation.

“They said, ‘We want to make sure that you don't lose your life savings,’” said Ray. “So I went along with it.”
