They tried to have his name scrubbed, that's why it took months to get the announcement that there's nothing in it. Presumably, he was so integral to the entire operation that scrubbing any mention of Trump would effectively scrub the entire document—this is the result
If deplatforming and political action by the ruling class are the main methods to stop this crisis, then none of us had any power to do anything in the first place
It's no wonder no one takes this seriously: the epidemic of disaffected young men is only a symptom of greater societal issues and can't effectively be addressed on its own. That's also what I was getting at with my comment
Stop what? Stop it how? Suddenly make every parent in the US loving, compassionate, and effective at raising their children? Or maybe we could just fix the economy? One of those is bound to work, easy!
I'm sure Google literally doesn't care, as long as a more effective compression algorithm is used. That's why they made it an open standard, use whatever you want but don't demonize .webp unnecessarily
They made it because better image compression means less storage is required for images. Even if it's a small upgrade, over trillions of images or exabytes of data saved translates into millions of dollars saved. This is the same thing for the delta format as another example
By making .webp an open standard, more people will use it, thus more space savings will be had by default
By "maybe something can be done," I just mean something to stabilize us. Something to give us a new normal. But, there's no going back to where we were at in 2024. The US as a whole is finished and something else will take its place
No. Even if he's gone, the world is irrevocably changed. We're all going together on this dark ride. The sooner people realize that, the better. Then maybe something can be done.
They also didn't say he was innocent, the opposite actually. The official narrative is that he's super guilty of a million crimes, he was just "administratively" deported incorrectly, however the deportation is still serendipitous and deserved.
Obviously, he's innocent. That's clear for anyone except the most die-hard MAGA cultist. So, like, the average FOX viewer
Also worth mentioning that they've only been snatching people off the street, meaning people who didn't have any active warrants. If they did have warrants, they probably would have been arrested already. They're not deporting people who are already in prison. At this point, "criminal" means anyone suspected of a crime, and that suspicion extends to any kind of criminal record, even if you've already served time.
Obviously, they're going to drop the "criminal" pretense soon enough, but they will start grabbing ex-felons first. I'm terrified for members of my family who absolutely fit the description of these kinds of targets: ex-felons with tattoos who look vaguely brown.
If you want to meet women, take a pottery class, join a softball league, take knitting lessons, join a book club, volunteer at a local animal shelter, go to the library regularly, join a protest, join a running or biking group, or even look around on one of those meetup apps for activities in your area
Maybe your problem was that you only went to your gym and your bar, instead of trying to meet new people? The point is, it's easy to get stuck into a routine, and swiping on Tinder often becomes part of the routine
