  • Idk man, i forgot his name since i commented. Fast news cycle cuts both directions. Visuals and memes have a little bit more lasting impact. Punch nazis kid is much easier to remember.

Even when they spend it they just turn it into debt. The bank is happy at 3-5% interest and if you make 7-10% on that borrowed money then blowing the difference doesn't impact you at all.

    I think there will be a sudden abundance when food waste is distributed instead of landfilled, housing is rent free and not locked away as an investment.

    Most of the systems that make society function are already not profit motivated so most will continue to function in transition. We see this happen every natural disaster, the workers of a critical facility sticking through because their work is meaningful.

    Won't be totally comfortable but i disagree with the opinion it will be a death sentence for many.

  • If it's windows it's telemetry or MS Office, try watching network usage and blocking MS processes, they don't need the constant connection anyway and your PC will run faster. If it's Linux you might want to check on that and fix it (real shit).

  • People have been working and dying to fight this on the left in the US since well before either of us were born. Attempting to blame the left instead of liberals or the fascists for the actions of the liberals and the right is antagonizing at best and maliciously doing the fascist's job for them at worst.

    I assume you're coming from a place of wanting a better world, but expecting people to kill outright is disregarding their position and the safety in their communities. People have lives and friends and families. When they lose what's left for them to protect then you'll probably start getting what you want.
