I guess I'm glad I can say that I didn't break that law, especially in such as stupid manner (though perhaps it still counts as breaking the law due to not declaring cash properly… What happened was that I had most of my cash in a thin travel pouch under my clothes, along with important documents, but when I showed the cash in my wallet to the border guards they just let me pass without me having the time to think of mentioning my pouch. This happened both on the Estonian and Russian side.)
Estonian border control is so fucking Nazi that they appear to be violating travel rules and they don't allow European citizens to carry euros for personal usage during their stay in Russia, like, I'm going for a whole ass month and they're capping it at 200€
Really? I wasn't aware of this when I crossed the border at Narva last year lol, and yet I definitely brought more. Although to be fair, I didn't declare the money in the most orthodox manner. (should I be saying this on the bear website?)
I post about octopuses in the previous general megathread, now the current general megathread is about octopuses. Coincidence?
Given this logic, and given the subject of this post, I extrapolate the prediction that the next general megathread will be about general megathreads. Flawless logic!
why yes! Trotsky's life of overcoming hardship would make him world champion at the insufferable idiot competition. Just replace Elon's "near-bankruptcies" and "rocket explosions" with "moral bankruptcies" and "party explosions"
Yes China is still pretty unequal despite poverty alleviation. For example: in 2020 (when China eliminated extreme poverty), then-Premier Li Keqiang still stated that there were 600 million people earning less than 1000 RMB per month (~136 USD with today's conversation rates).
BaltiKKKs don't be nazi challenge (impossible).
