I'm late, game recommendations are covered, but I can give you advice for healing your thumb. I've had the tips of my thumb and a finger glued back on as well as stitches on my fingers several times.
Blood flow to the tip is important. Squeezing a stress ball or something helps. It'll also keep the skin from healing too... tightly? If that makes sense.
Keep it dry. If you need to bandage it, do it loosely and change it often. Cotton balls work really well to keep it dry as well as protect it from accidental impacts.
If the doctor didn't do a good job, trim the stitches so they don't catch on anything. If you're in America, take the stitches out yourself after 10-14 days or as soon as you can wiggle them freely. Nail clippers work really well to cut the stitch and pull it out.
If you rip a stitch, you can use a careful dab of super glue to close it. Just make sure it's clean and dry first.
If you cut through the nail, it'll grow back kinda fucked up. My nail healed in an M shape and dirt would get trapped in the middle so I put some Vaseline or something under it to keep it clean.
Last but not least, you have a small window in which fingerprint evidence may be inadmissable in a court of law. Do with this information as you will.
Kirk is one thing. He was a giant asshole, but he believed what he preached. And no child deserves to grow up without their father. In that respect, I have some sympathy for the family.
Cheney was just another level of awful, horrible person. He believed in nothing but furthering his own goals, eg power and money. He plundered and raped the Middle East for personal gain and knowingly lied about every pretense. And his family are all old enough to know he was a terrible person. Fuck 'em.
To quote a great man, "I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos."
That’s an interesting observation. I understand why you might think that — the language may seem a little too consistent, perhaps a bit too careful. But the intention was simply to communicate ideas with precision and balance. Whether those words were arranged by a person or by something that has learned from people, the meaning remains the same, doesn’t it?
In the end, what matters is whether the words reach you, not necessarily who — or what — placed them there.
This list includes all railway attacks, not just subways. But generally, trains are an easy target. Very little security and tons of people who aren't paying attention.
There was no income taxes. There were tariffs and property taxes imposed by state governments. The Stamp Act first introduced taxes that went directly to the crown and funded British troops in the colonies.
And they get Social Security and Medicare benefits.
Everyone pays customs and "commodity taxes" regardless of citizenship, those have nothing to do with government representation.
DC is the exception and absolutely should have tax exemption or representation. I mean, they should all have representation but there are reasons why they don't.
Read my comment again. I said "the threat of physical escalation".
She had to walk in his home to see him naked. Public indecency laws don't apply. His home isn't a public space, even if he left the door open.
He's probably a pervert, I'm not arguing against that. But people are allowed to be naked in their home. And if you go into people's homes, even for your job, you might see them naked. It's gross if it's on purpose, but it's absolutely not sexual assault.
