  • I saw this the other day and I'm like well fuck might as well go to trade school before it gets saturated like what happened with tech in the last couple years.

  • My mom bought a cheap HP printer/scanner several years ago and subscribed to their "instant ink" subscription which was actually surprisingly cheap (like $3/mo) but once the printer stopped reliably connecting to the internet and nobody could print wirelessly anymore with it, she canceled the subscription and HP DISABLED ALL OF THE INK CARTRIDGES. The cartridges themselves have wifi connections so HP can automatically send you new ink when they get low. What a scam.

  • It's cheaper to put one screen and write software than spin up manufacturing operations for all sorts of differently shaped custom buttons and the control systems and wiring harnesses that are required to operate them all, so that's why automakers are doing it. Not saying I like it lol.

  • Try Grindr

  • Currently Unraid, haven't tried anything else lol

  • Once a hamper fills up, I do the laundry. Not super complicated lol

  • I have contamination OCD so there's no way I'd have others do my laundry 😂

  • The only reason I used my range's WiFi is to preheat it from downstairs or the store lol

  • About what my coworkers do but even worse with stuff like "save" and "fix"

  • This is the reason I dislike TDD.

  • I'm into mountain biking and it's fucking criminal what they charge for bike prices these days. A good bike with decent quality components is like $5000-$7000. High end name brand components will bring that up to $9000 easily. Higher end frames and boutique components can bring it into the $11000-$15000 range. It's fucked lol.

Oh and for an electric bike add $2000-3000 to the price.

  • I've got a Pihole set up running on my NAS but unfortunately it's really difficult to find ad tracking lists that both 1) block ads effectively and 2) don't break a large portion of webpages
