  • Fucking nerds in the commentsl love it

  • As others have already commented, not everyone can just leave. Also, if we could all leave, who would take so many USA immigrants?

  • I mean… You can’t think about it 24/7 or else you will go insane. This kind of thing requires endurance for the long haul.

  • Agreed. People are forgetting how the USA was created. This isn’t new. Targeting “illegals” has happened more than once before. If things actually implode, it could hopefully become an opportunity to build a fair society; one where white (elite) supremacists aren’t actually in charge.

  • It’s like that at every gas station where I live; every single one. All of the small gas stations have been bought and sold within the last couple of years and upgraded to this stupid video ad model.

  • I have IBS, GERD, anemia, & food allergies. I’ve seen medical professionals over the years and their recommendation is to eat anything & everything I can that won’t make me sick. I pretty much eat the same thing nearly everyday & most vegan protein sources make me sick.

  • I’m all for lab grown meat as well and hope it’s affordable & safe within my lifetime.

  • A large tooth comb I’ve had since middle school. I used it everyday until a couple of years ago when I switched to a brush better designed for my hair type, but I still use it on occasion. Not sure how I haven’t lost that thing throughout the years.

ETA: I’ve had the thing for over 2 decades!

  • Humans don't need meat

Yes, some of us do. Not everyone’s body is made to thrive on a vegan diet. Many of us are medically unable to not eat meat.

  • I dumped streaming services years ago when all the networks started to make their own services. I ditched cable for a reason.

  • I have IBS/GERD and the food allergies aren’t actually limiting (it’s only two things). The combo of IBS & GERD limit what I can eat in general, and vegetarian or vegan sources of protein must be eaten in very small amounts seldomly or I simply cannot eat them at all. I am unable to eat even wheat/seitan or soy or dairy. Seldom can I eat beans/lentil/nuts/seeds.

  • Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with these people? I mean, we could just push further with research and find a way to cure diabetes or disabilities instead of just “letting people die.” It’s madness, and I genuinely believe there is something clinically wrong with these people. But because they are in power, no one is holding them accountable.

  • That’s not possible for all of us. I have dietary issues and food allergies that keep me on a strict diet. Animal protein (and even the type is limited) is the only source of main protein I can eat regularly without getting sick. Shit like this scares me because I’m afraid I could literally end up starving to death if all the birds and fish die.

  • This makes me glad that I immediately hunt down any fly I find in my home until it is dead. I had a sudden fly infestation years ago and have never been lazy about even just one fly in my home since.

  • Not accurate. Plenty of broke people go to Disney regularly. I know a couple of them.

  • I’d rather be deported

  • Scottish courts ruled, and then upheld in the Scottish government’s favor, that sex is “not limited to biological or birth sex,” and must include those in possession of a gender recognition certificate (GRC).

But that was challenged in London’s Supreme Court by campaigners. And, in its ruling Wednesday, the country’s highest court said the meaning of the terms “sex,” “man” and “woman” in the U.K.’s Equality Act must refer to “biological sex” — with any other interpretation deemed “incoherent and impracticable.”

And here lies the issue. Maybe I am understanding how society and science are defining terms in these cases, but: doesn’t woman/man = gender (which differs depending on culture, time period, etc) and female/male = sex (which is a medical/scientific term)? It appears both sides of the table are trying to make these terms mean something they do not.

Either way, I see no practical point in actually making a law defining these terms, especially when the legal definition is not even correct scientifically speaking. There are so many biological changes that trans individuals go through when they medically transition and society will see them differently if they “pass” in their society. Also, sex isn’t so black and white either.
