  • I would be more careful on Lemmy.world. Feels like a lot of Lemmy.world doesn't like instances where they question things like capatilism and such. I have blocked more communities and users on lemmy.world them .ml.

    But that's my own personal experiences.

    Even after using Linux for many many years I still don't understand wtf nearly all man pages mean. It's like a fucking codex. It needs to be simplified but not to the extreme where it doesn't give you information you need to understand it.

    Tbh that's most of Linux, not designed for average people, designed by Linux users who think that all others should know everything about Linux.

  • Other responses so far are valid but as someone who has known people with this kinda reaction to sex stuff, they had cptsd from sexual assault as a child. It triggered them. Things from childhood can pop up later in life. Or maybe a recent experience could have.
