  • Sounds like it lol.

Based on the article, the deputy prime minister added that he’s grateful for the reduced tariff in the same statement in which he said they’d nominate the orange buffoon.

They could not be more transparent.

  • So turns out this is the real reason they’re against abortions. I always thought it was the labor they could exploit. I guess it’s both

  • He said it was a fragment of a fossil cuttlefish so I was assuming there was more to this that was um… being used

  • It’s insane to me that anyone would think these things are reliable for something as important as your own psychology/health.

Even using them for coding which is the one thing they’re halfway decent at will lead to disastrous code if you don’t already know what you’re doing.

  • My previous manager (same company, different team) was an idiot who somehow failed his way up and he gave way too much credit to courses and certificates. He would end up hiring the worst people (both from a team fit and a skills fit). The one candidate I pushed for that didn’t have any of that BS ended up being awesome.

Luckily enough people complained and a few people quit that he got banished to the shadow realm (he’s good at a completely different skillset which requires you to be stupidly annoying like he is, so they moved him to a team of…just himself).

  • If you’re going to post it online, you should look into AI poisoning. I haven’t really looked into it too much for text information, but I know some content creators implement it into their videos or images.

Sorry if you already know this, but just posting in case someone doesn’t:

AI poisoning is basically finding a way to embed data into your content so that it fucks up LLMs when they try to ingest your content.

  • With the current state of affairs, I’m worried he’s going to fall out of a window and shoot himself in the back of the head

  • Alright that is great to hear, it makes me a little more hopeful.

  • My concern is that Cuomo is planning to run as an independent and my pessimism is telling me that somehow he might win. I mean no one thought Trump would win in 2016 or again in 2024, but here we are.

But the part of me that wants something to hold on to is desperately optimistic that this might be the start of the change.

  • Have you ever thought of moving to become a Cloud Admin or DevOps or something?

Currently working as a weird hybrid DevOps Engineer/Solutions engineer position, but I still see job postings for DevOps engineers out there.

But yeah, I’m right there with you, I’m fed up with the IT world and have been thinking of a career change but I just have no idea what kind of career I’d actually like.

May I ask, what are you taking classes for?

  • Feels like we’re headed towards a new dark ages

  • Isn’t this just… feudalism

  • A tery

    Jump
  • I was so confused by the original post because I saw “Tery” and thought this was supposed to be Batman Beyond lol

  • I think they’re trying to do the opposite of build a sexist agenda lol. This is facetiously poking fun at the people who say women are too emotional to be president. Atleast that was my interpretation.

  • It sounds like the problem is that you have too many working brain cells. You’ll need to kill about 90% of them off to qualify with this administration.

  • Dude, I don’t think you’re supposed to tell me that

  • I know nothing about art and at most, I’ll just think some piece of art is cool.

But this piece had me mesmerized and actually wanting it on canvas to hang on a wall.

  • And then years from now when this all comes to a head, they’re gonna hire some poor schmucks to fix that crappy code

  • LOL

I was actually thinking about my experience with Lemmy as I was reading this article, particularly how the scrolling is made to generate rage. I don’t filter my feed and just view “all”, but I don’t think I’ve once walked away from Lemmy not in a bad mood.

Now that may be observation bias or something, or a function of how I don’t tailor my own experience, but regardless, Lemmy leaves me angrier when I leave then when I open the app. I’m trying to cut back and eventually quit.
