I'm just a person who does mycology for fun.

  • He gives you a bunch of stuff in different caves throughout the game.

  • Thankfully we can bypass the politicians and implement a better voting system via citizen ballot initiatives in most states. Maine and Alaska have already adopted ranked choice voting via ballot initiatives.

  • I agree, it has nice songs and I always love listening to Dana Snyder be grouchy.

  • This is the entire premise of The Ghost and Molly McGee.

  • You can mostly remove the toxins by boiling these but they're still mildly toxic and aren't generally considered tasty. Plus the cap is sticky so it usually has a layer of dirt and moss growing on it.

They apparently eat them picked in Russia.

  • You could just buy a utensil crock and never have to worry about it again.

Also box graters go in a cabinet, if you don't have cabinet space and need to keep it in a drawer then get a flat grater (it's not like you use the other sides of the box grater anyway).

  • It's no "throwing birdseed at your candidate of choice in order to attract the freedom eagle to them".

  • Cloud is way worse than server in my experience. Server was only bad because it was usually configured poorly and IT would never give admins to anyone who actually needed it. Cloud is bad because it's slow as hell and can't be configured correctly because the ability to configure it correctly has been sitting in "Gathering Interest" on Atlassian's issue tracker for two years despite thousands of votes and comments.

  • There's still Jira Data Center but nobody wants to pay extra for it so instead we have to deal the the garbage that is Cloud.

  • Both the Street Sharks and the Biker Mice from Mars feel pretty imaginary.

  • I have the same issue with my switch, I usually mash the button for its port on my receiver remote until the other devices give up but about 10% of the time that refuses to work and I have to redock.

  • You shouldn't have to lock your doors to feel safe but in both cases, bad actors ruin it for everyone.

  • That's why his "solution" is going to be to replace them by contracting private companies. These will of course happen to exclusively be companies owned by Musk and or Trump.

  • Thinking quickly, Generative AI constructs a playable version of Doom, using only some string, a squirrel, and a playable version of Doom.

  • Burnout is a symptom of exploitation but not all burnout comes from exploitation. You can burn out from non-work activities like caregiving. You can burn out as a business owner or a member of a worker-owned co-op. You can burn out at a job that only expects healthy hours because you're an overachiever who refuses to take time off.

  • It's pretty common not to have heard of his works, Astro Boy is the only one that made it over to the West but it's never gotten a ton of attention. I remember the 2003 series got some play on Saturday mornings and Toonami but it was really short-lived.

Pluto which came out on Netflix late last year is a reinterpretation of an Astro boy arc that's done fairly well.

MAPPA also made a great anime adaptation of Dororo a few years ago but it mostly flew under the radar.

  • He never had the chance, Manchin was pretty outspoken about his opposition to it.

  • I had forgotten until I saw this comment but now I distinctly remember a game where you were supposed to make a cake for a pig by following steps like putting the correct ingredients into the mixer. My sister and I used to repeatedly mess up the cake on purpose because the pig would eat it no matter what and we found it hilarious to feed him awful cakes made entirely of burnt eggshells.

  • It's fitting given that JJBA is so packed with music references.
