  • I read somewhere that the main tactic in attacking JFK's Catholicism was to say that he'd be the Pope's lackey. They were worried that he'd follow the Pope's orders and not do what's best for Americans. It's kind of funny to think that was a tactic now when the same opposition party managed to vote in a transparent Russian asset.

  • If you've met a nerdy type and you think they aren't kinky in some way, it's because they've mastered masking in front of the normies. It's an essential life skill. I don't know a single kinky person who isn't a nerd or a geek, and vice versa. Full credit to this guy for living life out loud.   • Yeah, Uber and Lyft both use a crapload of battery when it's trying to sync me with a driver. I can see rideshare apps shuffling you around to different drivers until the battery is really low, only to swoop in at 15% to find you a driver at 3x the price. What are you gonna do, not take it?

  • I'm no Mexico expert but I can't imagine Mexico is wealthy enough to afford this type of protection in the numbers they need. They also couldn't likely rely on local hires without extensive background checking. Bear in mind that they would need people who are experienced and ready to shoot at all times. The best scenario would be to hire PMCs to provide security but they don't come cheap and have their own logistical issues.

    Why not just legalize drugs? Then you can just tax em. Fairly of course cause it still has to be profitable. The illegality of the drugs is why there's so much crime down there. Take the money you're putting into drug enforcement and put it into education on why the drugs shouldn't be done in the first place. Give people the tools to make educated choices about what they put into their bodies you know? I guess I just don't get it.
