  • Don't cheap out and use the hand holding script to ez mode the install. At least not the first time. You will learn a few things along the way.

  • Oh, well then. I just seen a quick mention of a year in the late 80's. Guessing they're still made just as good?

  • Do go to bed early, for once.

Watch the sunrise with your favorite morning beverage.

Listen to the inner thoughts as the world around begins to slowly rise.

  • Back when stuff was mostly built to last. When pride still existed. Now the alarm function is behind an app and subscription...

  • Mine has a few seconds buffer, where the magnetron turns off but everything else keeps going. After about 3 seconds it all stops then beeping starts.

  • I mean, the fastest method is likely to just plug the phone into PC and pretend it's a flash drive?

  • Old gnome was great. Was like the best middle ground. Enough options to tweak stuff, but not plasma levels of knobs. Le sigh

  • Oh noooo...oh right, already had them blacklisted.

  • Ya, hindsight it's a dumb comparison.

  • For sure. Plenty of times I've had to go power cycle a little desk printer just for it to work again. Oddly, commercial label printers (like TSC) have been surprisingly ok, even in large industrial shops.

  • Maybe it's the environments I work in, but WiFi printing always ends in tragedy.

  • Can't you also attempt exif data?

  • Here in Louisiana it's pretty common

  • Used to be a field repair tech for several oems. The XPS usually suffered hinge issues. They decided it was a good idea to use press fitted standoffs in plastic to anchor the screen hinges...and the plastic is not very thick.

  • Crazy how a biological analog lump is capable of even a fraction of what a brain can do.

  • An odd and very specific, but sims 4. Only if it included any and all content as it's released with no additional fees/purchases.

Last I looked (and ignoring sales, just MSRP) is several hundred dollars.

Then I remember it's owned by EA...

  • Heh, it's been a struggle of complying with authority on simple/mundane task. But slowly its getting away from it

  • It makes me sad as I observe the wider population 😭

  • I think my kid is gonna be just fine. He rarely believes anything i tell em without follow up evidence....He's 5.

But Ive always focused on critical thinking skills from as early as possible.
