  • People want to participate but they dont want to read or think.

Low effort stuff needs to be punished in discussion-based communities like politics, technology and news. Mods are just happy to see people parroting the correct viewpoints but even if they are valid viewpoints theres no meaning behind them because people are memeifying their ideologies.

I would love to see bans for "revealing your side" so that people come to their own conclusions based on the truest information we can discuss. People are afraid of others coming to the wrong conclusions and fail to trust others to think so they tell them what to think.

    It drives me fucking mad.

  • Take my job!!!!

  • Seriously. If you try to talk about a political issue at face value without making your "side" clear then people fill in those blanks for you as though you made a mistake in being too ambiguous.

  • Im seeing a lot of reasons why you, or i, would not want such a service to exist.

What a person should or should not be doing is their business. Companies who can target vulnerable people would ideally be regulated.

Id much rather first go after payday advance companies with exorbant fees, or casinos, or high interest loans that individuals cant be expected to repay.

  • If someone came to a service provider and wanted it, and provided media to train on, and agreed to whatever costs are involved, isnt that enitrely their business?

  • How the fuck could this be illegal?

  • When a journalist actually reports when a scientist says "We don't know".

  • I wonder how big of a pile of onions could be made with all recalled product.

  • I dont understand how you dont question a jpeg. A child made this meme. It did not happen.

Now if it were a png, thats a good source. Theres a lot more transparency.

  • I will be paying attention to similar claims but i wouldnt be surprised if the survey results arent representing the population well. Anyone know what verification is collected for an online poll like this? Or is it email based and easier to manipulate? Their methodology pasted below for those curious.

"Methodology: The American Values Survey was conducted online Aug. 16-Oct. 4. The poll is based on a representative sample of 5,027 adults (age 18 and older) living in all 50 states and the District of Columbia who are part of Ipsos' Knowledge Panel®.

The margin of sampling error is +/- 1.82 percentage points at the 95% confidence level, for results based on the entire sample."

  • Fuck

  • Did what?

  • Oh okay. I was like... passthrough is a major part of the product lol.

  • Is facial passthrough like face identification or just passthrough?

  • Aw. A cute little comment that fits nicely with the article headline.

Thanks for saving me time by giving your summarized dissection of the article and the implications it has for apples product.

Oh and btw all tech products stop production at some point, because you know, apple isnt a dumbass that pumps out products without regard for demand as they are creating a successive model of the product.

    Stop scrolling. Start thinking.
