The guy literally shares the "source files" for his open source for his comics (krita, inkscape, etc), plus all the information about how it's drawn. I also suspected AI but it's likely just his style; like the use of em dashes w/ LLMs.
Too bad even with all the documentation, it's tough to trust people now.
Remember, a huge number of the No Kings protesters were Boomers and Gen Xers. While not 1:1 on this issue, there are still old people worried about the state of the future.
Sucks people you know are not that, though. Also not sure where millennials like myself are... probably working to survive. Lol
Had trouble with this myself teaching. Students this semester have been good about it (probably because I've been very explicit in my contempt and also it kept blundering) but last semester was tricky.
One thing I learned was I need to also insist no Grammarly. That used to be allowed but it makes original writing sound very AI. I also riddled my assignments with short oral segments and personal stories.
It cuts into class time but I've managed to make those sessions educational since my "presentations" are always conversations w/ students. No ppts. Actually kinda fun and very much weeds out cheaters lol
I wonder. People saying it isn't VPNs aren't necessarily wrong but I do want to say it's likely they are using bot networks to mass create accounts and those might use IP rotation. Those IPs can come from any fucking place. I've only seen it from scraping operations, but I bet it's necessary when mass operating bullshit accounts.
US proxies exist, but they're more expensive and wouldn't make as much sense for mass creating if your goal is just to avoid getting blocked.
I was just a tiny bit too young to get into it properly, as my brother and I would turn off enemies and just explore the world in that game (I loved vents and secret door). Instead, I got heavily into its level maker.
Wow. I see now why experts are saying that was written by Russia, at least in part. Especially the parts clearly steered by Russian propaganda like the Nazi thing. Also 50% to the US? That's really, really stupid.
Works well though with Lemmy, we've got a high number of autistic and ADHD folk per capita to give very precise, very detailed answers to even the most banal of questions.
Except questions about the CCP on .ml. Don't do that.
Hmm. Neat. I didn't mind Prop 50 mostly because it's a one off thing. Plus we already know Rs already are more represented in the house than they should be due to gerrymandering, so it's not like there aren't other states to offset, lol.
I'm a little curious how this impacts CAs efforts, as I believe those were meant to be contingent on TX but with appeals existing and the timeframe, I'm not sure when or if they'll undo what they were going to do in CA. And CAs is pretty obviously not race driven, even if it's blatantly partisan (yet that's legal because fuck us).
Would be really funny though if this backfires such that Ds get more gerrymandered seats overall, though, lol.
Some corporations do this with product releases. If misinformation leaks, they can narrow it down. Moreover, since no one knows for sure their info is genuine, they're less likely to leak. It's usually trivial things that won't impact performance but sometimes stuff like video game endings and stuff, lol.
Wow, quite wild to see some Lemmings get wooshed this hard by an Adam Ellis comic. Though I guess it's mostly aimed at his audience on Bluesky or Reddit. I follow him on the former. He's been experimenting a lot ever since he left Buzzfeed.
Anyway, look at the exaggerated arch in his back. Look at the barbie-font Jesus poster. Acknowledge Ellis' work is often very LGBT (when it's not horror, lol). He's poking fun at hypocrite religious folks, or maybe he's making fun of how very gay it is to get on your knees for Jesus. Or maybe however you interpret it... I mostly just giggled at that fucking ARCH of a back.
