I played a lot of Cyberpunk Dreams. I sold a load of catfish, passed my first college course, got my cartilage pierced, and started looking for a buyer for my flatbed truck. Also made progress on my mission. Next, I must brave the projects.
Also played The Sims 2, probably my all time favorite game. Almost every household had recovered from the pneumonia that's been going around, although not without casualties.
And just started Halcyon Days in Taoyuan, which just came out. A farm sim where you're a normal student who falls off a cliff and gets rescued by members of a town who have been cut off completely from modern society for 100 years. They ask you to stay because...you're not related to everyone else, I guess.
If my dad did it, I wouldn't be surprised, but I would be sad. If my mom did it, I would be very surprised, and I guess I would feel sort of sad, but more feeling sorry for her, not sad about her dying.
I feel like it was already going when I was born. The Cold War was a pretty big deal at the time. Every day felt like the entire world was going to end at any moment.
I loved the one that added hunger and thirst mechanics, and simulated weight gain and loss from food choices and physical activity. I ended up so chunky because the only non-radiated food you find in most places is candy and junk food.
Wow, it was very difficult to read about. Actually, I think I heard of it before now, when I read about the plot of the book, We Do Not Part. I didn't realize it was a real place.
Looks nice. Very readable.
