  • yeah, kids toothpaste is especially worrisome if it contains toxins because kids can't exactly spit out their toothpaste until they get to a certain age. they just consume it, so kids toothpaste is supposed to be safe to consume.

  • there's video, no one was doing anything to him. he got out of his SUV, started yelling at people, returned to the vehicle, got back out with the weapon at his side. self defense would have been (a) for literally anyone to have threatened him and (b) for him to simply leave the scene.

  • I don't know, I used vim for like 6 years and then discovered, thanks to the power of evil and doom, how much better the vi experience is inside the context of emacs. With all the utilities and packages, it's worth the small additional burden of troubleshooting that it imposes.
