  • Isn't he bad for dumping his wife here?

  • What does it really change? If you're in legal troubles, the same request will come from your hosting or internet service provider.

  • And people said he would not be able to monetize Twitter.

  • Me irl

  • What kind of surveillance? I remember 6 years ago an admin of a paid org on Slack could download all conversations, including private.

  • If only there weren't trying to make YouTube less usable. Currently if I listen to podcasts on YT and take a break, in a few hours it can completely forget that I was watching it, it'll be gone from my watch history. This is so frustrating with 2-3 hours long videos.

  • I get the sense that a lot of people here don’t use MacOS.

    I wish that was true.

  • I mean, you and I known MS could simply ask…

    No.

That's the best known case, but it's not limited to organ donation of course.

    I didn't argue with that.

  • No, because most people stick with the default option regardless.

  • Ultimately, most people stay with the default option, that's why they have to be aggressive. Look at the amount of screenshots even in advanced PC communities with ugly useless search bar enabled, which is taking 1/3 of the taskbar. I'm not even speaking about casual users who have no idea that it can be disabled.

  • Lemmy.ml is still focused on FOSS and Privacy

Meanwhile at c/worldnews they remove replies where people disagree that Ukraine is run by fascists and Putin should take it.

  • It's simply easier for Death to update Wikipedia before the act. Death doesn't want to be late for the party that comes after.

  • I think if it was enough, we wouldn't have viruses, as Microsoft Defender is enabled by default. I wouldn't rely much trust on it.

  • Why hate them? What did they do to you?

  • Or you can explain it to a SO

  • Or you can ask on SO. Then close it with "nvm, fixed".

  • Usually it means you're doing something terribly wrong.
