So long as there is people living in a place, having kids, and trying to improve their lives, the places will remain. The government may change, social structure's get overhauled, but the same fact that people are having kids and building a life means those places are unlikely to go away. The old republic is dead. We have supreme court justices taking bribes then passing judgments saying they can. We have the position of President where anyone in it can legally say "I was doing it for my country the laws don't apply." And get away with it. The United States of America as a Democratic Republic, is over. But there still exists a United States of America that has transitioned to a Democratic Empire/kingdom. So to the question; "Is the USA screwed?" The simple answer is No. It will continue on so lobg as the population does. Is the Democratic Republic of the United States screwed? Not since Ryan Cohen gave the shorts everything they wanted with the stock sale last year and had absolutely nothing to show for it like a new product or acquisition. Ryan Cohen betrayed his core investors and did something that was supposed to be impossible. He turned a MACD Golden cross into a death cross with a stock sale. Impossible because it would take considerable timing, and back door dealing that is still illegal, in order for it to happen. GameStop dead. Ryan selling assets cuz the ship ain't righted, and he ain't got a better plan. Shrink the business and rip off the small guys that invested.
Make yourself do one thing a day. Today you washed a sink of dishes, keep going until the dishes are done if you can, but at least force yourself to get one thing done, unless you are physically unwell as well. If you are physically unwell, always try to fix that first. Injury, illness, and other physical malady, usually causes depression so you slow down and have a chance to figure out what's going wrong. If you aren't sick and only depressed, you can look back on the 1 thing you got done and know you didn't just waste your time so at least you have that and don't have to feel bad about doing nothing. Instead you decided to fight back the entropy with 1 task. It ain't gotta be much, but making yourself do something, is still doing SOMETHING.

It's a very strange phenomenon, where people are doing things that appears to help them short term, while actually just screwing themselves entirely. Dooming their entire segment of the population because they simply don't have anyone standing there with violence on hand, telling them: NO! Pretty fucking weird, it would be like me, a dude angry from actions taken against me, harassing my neighbors by stealing their packages. It's definitely going to get the wrong kind of attention, and no ones gonna be on my side for doing it... That's what the GOP is doing. Fucking morons.
The problem with any currency in our current state is 2 fold:
- The people that already have too many assets can simply buy a bunch of the currency and fuck with it. Roller coaster that shit.
- A small group of dedicated individuals with a large sum of money together could perform a similar attack.
- This is an extra specifically for crypto that I happened to notice while angrily trading btc, doge, and ethereum, they are heavily traded by algo's, you can crash them by repeatedly buying on a dip, then selling for a minor gain. The algo's see it as pattern trading and alter their trades to try and recoup losses, the price goes down. Most stocks are not currently as easily manipulated in this manner. Most stocks if you get a gain of a few cents, algo's will see it as a stock paying out, and will pile into it meaning after you sell for a profit the price keeps going up... Which stinks, but it's doing that because you made a profit, and likely the movement would be different if you hadn't made profit, if you took a loss, the algo's might see it as people are giving up and try to pile in shorts so the price further sinks... My point over all is; having a finite resource of any kind as currency is dangerous because a small group of people already have a majority of the current limited resources and there's nothing stopping them from simply buying up the new limited resources when it's available. As Argentina is finding out... Also young currencies have inherent liabilities to them like loop holes people can use to get gains or losses when gains or losses are not due.
Been considering a new name for the 1 state solution that merges both Gaza and Israel into a working 1 state solution. Fantastica was my initial thought, kinda gives a middle finger while being a nice reference to the fact anyone murdering children for any reason are living in a fantasy world with real world repercussions like Fantastica in The Never Ending Story, book not movie, movies got nostalgia on it's side but the book is a lot better, even though it was originally a young adult novel, I read it about 9yo, and liked it so much it's still one of my favorite books 30ish yrs later... But if not Fantastica, maybe New Manhattan, or New Juneau, new Alaska, gotta be something that shatters their belief the land is holy. Fertile, sure, holy... Well it is holey where they keep detonating. But if all it takes is "talking to god", fine, I talked to god, they busy, that land is as holy and sacred as the current inhabitants see the life of people they view as less than them. So Israel is gonna need to be leveled, for something useful like a giant pyre of holy texts, Gaza too, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. To quote Borat: " your opinion is no require."
It's worse than that. Elon identified one of the core tenets impacting employment and he didn't even know he was doing it. H1-B visa engineers are underpaid, and over worked, the rich are replacing the hardworking US engineers that demand good pay with slave labor engineers from foreign countries. If an immigrant is better at a job than me, it stings, but by all means pay them a good wage and give them a fancy title, but if there really isn't a difference other than you can pay them less... Get them out, and fill the jobs with people already here. Replacing good workers with slave labor is part of what has strangled the middle class into lower middle class, and bottom class people.
- It used to be that if you had to rent an apartment you were poor, even in the cities you could buy an apartment when working at an educated level of job. Now, people just rent an expensive apartment and people assume they have money, Unless you have a support system to help you, you aren't buying a home. If you do you will be working a side gig as well as your main job, and that's just to make the two different ends of paychecks meet in the middle.
Time to gush. Levar Burton to me as Geordi LaForge was a hero to me as a child. As a white dude, it never occurred to me Geordi was black, he's a guy, he's super smart, he's cool, and someday you just knew that guy was gonna be an awesome captain. Levar Burton is why I wanted to work with technology, Geordi is who I pictured myself as when I was a kid tearing apart, or fixing(much less fixing and mostly breaking back then, but that's how it starts). Levar Burton is almost solely responsible for my initial wonder at science. He stands easily shoulder to shoulder with Mr Rogers.

This hits home. I have 2 failed companies to my name. First one flopped, second one I learned from my obvious failures and it got started, then folded when a client refused to pay and I didnt have the resources to fight it in court(single person business, no resources to fall back on as it was just starting out). So back to working the carnival. The second attempt took everything I had, savings, working 12hr days minimum, and every bit of my technical skills. While the first I was hoping for side cash and didn't invest as much time and effort and got practically nothing. I am not going to sacrifice like I did for the second one ever again, too much work to have it fail because of someone else, the place that didn't pay me ended up folding within a year so likely I just took on a bad customer, but if that's all it takes for a fledging business to become untenable for a single hardworking person to accomplish, then it's not even worth trying because there are so many failures out there that you have to weed out if they will be likely to pay or not.
While this is hilarious, likely because it's true. Dudes going after SSRI's. SSRI's saved my life. AND after using them for years I simply slowly reduced my dosage over about a month and I was off them and now only use them as an emergency pill if something really stressful or bad happens it keeps me from getting too emotionally raw and ragged. I have a supply to likely last me years so this doesn't impact me. It worries me for the people the SSRI's could help, but he wants to keep the drugs a way from.
When you can't earn money, then, time isn't money, Money IS Money! Sure that device costs $5 to replace, but with those two hours that you weren't earning cash, you saved $5 that you can spend on whatever your heart desires. When you aren't earning, save.

Keep going and try to apply yourself to the ADHD projects as much as humanly possible, you will expand your attention on the things you get all attention deficity on, and can train to be absorb situations quickly and astutely, the more powerful your ADHD the stronger you can train yourself to absorb knowledge because your attention naturally grabs anything happening, also try not to get distracted by a TV every time one is on, so ignore the meaningless stuff, focus the ADHD on important things, and grow as a person using your "disability" as a tool for success. -you will be exhausted regularly if you are doing it right, that much processing has a cost-
