  • Phrases "like hit the iron while the irons hot" "hit the ground running" and "nip it in the bud" are all great expressions. Instead we allowed ourselves to be manipulated by corporate giants. We don't have time. This isn't a corporate project this is life and death.

  • The problem is is its time we don't have, the original 1.5 goalpost has been moved multiple times beyond what many scientists see as reasonable. In reality pandemic style measures should have been installed globally or bring the oil company's in to answer for their immense damage like the 1986 Shell document that leaked should have been used as leverage.

    Instead we've sat on our fucking hands watching the sky collapse on our own heads while saying "it takes time," "we need oil to switch the lights on," these excuses won't age well when we see the needle tipping with no chance to go back.

    If you want real change join a socialist / leftist org. Read socialist theory and teach others of the scientific approach to society and class differences.

  • Good stuff. I've been hearing stuff about laser pointer at demos popularised by Japan protests. Me and some anarchist comrades did some research and found that unless you have a steady arm, and a large £300 laser pointer then there is little point. The cheaper pointer can only slightly damage camera sensors and that's with a steady prolonged beam at a distance too close for comfort. However obfuscation for short moments is possible. With the larger more expensive pointer with a prolonged beam you will break the sensor.

  • I'm a British activist. We have been fighting a populous movement called Stop The Boats, which has switched names to Enough is Enough.

    Its come out that I and many comrades have had our photos taken at counter demos and have been added to a list that includes names, location and pictures.

    Fuck these guys. Fuck anyone thinking doxxing fascists is wrong. They are doing it to us. And 15 years ago with the rise of the EDL my party comrades where victim to attacks on the street seemingly random. Letters saying "we know your address and the next one will explode" sent directly to homes of socialist party members.

  • its not even complacency, its a system built into to capitalist and class based politics, this is why i will take the revolutionary approach and seek to dismantle the state. France had an anarchist revolution where the anarchist completed they're task and put down the weapons and tools and left a power vacuum, Marx supported the revolution but while witnessing the aftermath that erupted afterwards Marx seeked solutions, this is why revolutionary socialists seek the complete removal of the old state.

    Marx himself did say the working class should vote in they're interest, and i support this notion. now if the working class feel voting goes against they're interest who am i to say they are wrong, i wont be getting libbed up over it. instead i use these opportunities to point people towards Marxism.
