  • I see a lot of good reasoning here but I can't get over the fact that I wouldn't choose the same for myself. If I can't see myself choosing death why force it on my friend? I have never judged someone for choosing to kill their pet who is in a terrible condition dommed to get worse however.

    I just can't do what I wouldn't want done to me.

    MPV is crazy. Got a plugin that let's me clip videos very easily, one that let's me pick stream quality for when I use MPV to watch twitch videos, you can even get riscord rich presence if you're into that thing.

    I don't think that's the meaning though personally. Happy to be wrong but I've seen a lot of people just fully wrong on what that term means argue against it and that's what this reads to me.

  • AI datacenters are buying large amounts of ram from the companies making these things and are willing to pay whatever price needed to get more. This has driven up prices absurdly.

    As for consumer electronics and prebuilts yeah it'll raise their prives. Samsung can't even buy ram from samsung for their phones. Atleast they had to re-negotiate a much higher price per chip

  • Yeah they're pretty expensive but apparently quite good. They force feed the cats as much of the stuff as they can to get the highest output keeping them in tiny cages and poorly fed (they can't properly digest the beans and get as little food as can be given to ensure max output)
