I don't think the richest people are the ones who want to please people the most, I think the less they want to please people, the richer they get. Then they run society with their wealth and the people pleasers are at their mercy
So do you think it was a genocide before Trump or not? You said "biden isn't president of israel" which implies that a genocide was going on but Biden wasn't responsible. But you also said "you dont know what genocide is" implying that it wasnt a genocide at all.
Oh I see, our fundamental disagreement is that you don't think Israel is committing genocide against the palestinians. I think trapping people inside a narrow strip of land, cutting off their supply of food and water, and carpet bombing the place for 2 years is definitely genocide but I guess you know better or whatever
The original Bri Larson tweet makes me think of a recent post on lemmy that showed younger men are less and less likely to ask women out in person. Some people in the comments said "hey it's ok to approach women in public just be ok with them saying no" but when I read what women say about being approached in public (like bri larsons tweet here) I get the feeling that I should never approach women in public because I'll make them feel scared.
I'm not talking about the top tweet where a guy is memorizing your address, that is creepy, I understand that, but the guy in the bri Larson tweet wasn't being creepy, just shooting his shot right? Or am I way off here?
