  • Seriously, unless I'm not getting something, the last two panels actively make the comic worse (by making it longer for no reason).

  • I thought the light fixtures doubled as viewing spots for gallery goers similarly afflicted as the artist and I was pleased by this detail. Then I noticed there wasn't one in front of the small one, so they're probably just light fixtures after all.

  • I am dual booting Linux Mint and Windows 10 on my desktop PC, what's keeping me from switching completely is Lossless Scaling... I didn't find a similarly hassle-free and functional alternative that would run on Linux

EDIT: Oh, and it's a huge pain comparatively to overclock my display from 60 to 96 Hz. In Windows it's a matter of running an executable every time my display driver updates. I gave up and I just boot to Windows anytime I want to take advantage of the higher frequency (which is a lot)

  • I don't understand how that's possible. Like, driving school has ingrained the turn signal reflex into my arm so well that I sometimes even feel weird not using a turn signal when making a hard turn on a road without crossings. And changing lanes without a turn signal literally can't be done, my brain feels. Don't driving schools in the US do that?

  • Weirdly, it doesn't work as well for me. I think the dopamine hit is just not that strong

  • I have ADHD and energy drinks have been helping me focus when I don't have access to meds. Somehow Monster is the cheapest among the select few brands that I actually like the taste of (and a lot of people shit on it because of the taste -- I guess it shows how subjective it is). I'm not happy about financially supporting a corp that makes money on getting people addicted to sugar, but I can't deny the effects the drinks have on me

  • "Listen, I like to chat, but today I am feeling a bit overwhelmed from work and I need some peace and quiet, could this be a silent haircut please? It would do wonders for my soul right now!"

You are responsible for setting boundaries and attending to your needs. Any good hairdresser will be totally fine with this, and some may even be relieved.

  • In this I wish Firefox was more like Chromium. I use tab search a lot and Ctrl + Shift + A is much more efficient than this 3-step combo

  • The ADHD suspicion and later diagnosis did the same for me, actually! I even have meds which do help me fit into society better. But something always felt off. I am going to learn more about giftedness, but the shift in mindset is already huge, similar to the former shift. Thank you for your kind words, I wish you good luck on your own journey -- and don't be so harsh on yourself ❤️

  • I just want to bring up the option, because my struggles are similar to yours. Giftedness is something I recently found out I have probably been blessed with either along with, or instead of ADHD (which I have a diagnosis for).

  • Hey, weird suggestion, but maybe look into giftedness as a cause instead of ADHD.

  • This, but every evening a week straight until the bottle is actually empty and then I walk around with greasy hair until I get weird looks from people at the mall, at which point I remember to buy it.

  • It's much more parseable with punctuation:

James, while John had had "had", had had "had had". "Had had" had had a better effect on the teacher.
