  • “Also we’re gonna pay the military and build a sick ballroom”

  • Pretty sure that been a thing forever but also yea fuck em

  • Critical support for yoinking crypto

  • In this case I used it in tofu au vin to make up for the lack of meat/bone.

Should also work well for mao style braised tofu I bet.

  • Wow agar really works well as a substitute for gelatin. I’m not surprised, but I am glad to see that it worked.

  • Sir, they’re telling me we’ve been “dabbed upon”

  • This one was hyprland

  • That’s great because this feeling like exploding + stress vomiting + stress eczema really isn’t doing it for me

  • Yay!!! Very happy for you!!! ❤️

  • I keep going back and forth with myself between “everyone who makes hardware is a fuck anyway, might as well get the more repairable option” and “wow their response to this is actually terrible”

Like Tim Apple is also buddy buddy with trump and I can’t fix a MacBook. And then the framework rep says “yes this person really overhauled their community and it’s not toxic now”… and the great community de-toxifier is out there dropping T slurs left and right.

  • Yay congrats, I hope it went well! And I hope you get some solid relaxation in today too :)

  • You can do it!

In case it wasn’t clear I’m not recommending doing nothing, but for me it was helpful to know that that’s still a valid option because it let me give myself permission to move at a pace and towards an end goal that I’m comfortable with.

  • I think I’m actually kinda looking forward to the crying, there’s a lot bottled up in there

  • Thanks :)

  • Thank you :)

    I’m scared but also excited!

  • You don’t have to tell anyone. You can do absolutely nothing if that’s what works for you; that doesn’t make you any less trans. (Doing nothing was my original plan btw, and it was good enough for me until it wasn’t)

For me, what has been working is to figure out a small step that you’re comfortable with and start there. Maybe it’s wearing something cute around the house. Then maybe that’s good for a while but you don’t want to have to change before you go to the store or get the mail or whatever. The little step is enough until it isn’t, but also, the more times you take that same step the more comfortable you feel with the idea of another one.

When I started coming out I had to talk about everything kinda obliquely, but now I can say out loud that I’m trans. I told one person, and now telling the next doesn’t feel as scary. Just start with something you feel like you can handle and progress from there at your own pace. I’m still not all the way out yet, but I’m slowly getting more comfortable and taking new steps. It’s scary but so far it’s been worth it.

So my advice is to not worry about telling anyone until that feels like something you need to do. It’s okay to take it slow.

  • That’s very encouraging, thank you :)

  • This sounds great tbh. I think I’m mainly worried about the adjustment period between here and there.

  • Should be starting HRT soon but I’m kinda scared of the emotions. I’m already barely this side of okay.
