The commander must have liked HST at least a little bit to have gone through the trouble of an administrative discharge, but not even downgrade from "honorable" to "general".
Usually if somebody is a minor pain, everybody just waits it out until their contract ends and denies them the ability to sign a new one. If they are pain enough to discharge early through a pure admin discharge (as opposed to medical), there is usually enough hard feeling for a downgrade.
It is annoying not to have a button on the UI, but once you learn the hotkey this becomes a non-issue unless I'm missing something? I suppose this is an issue, but for a piece of free software like this it sort of feels like making a mountain out of a molehill.
Attention theft is an existing term, though it's used to describe bad practices by marketers. I suppose it's bad that the term has had to come into existence, but it is good that it exists as a way to talk about bad practices more easily.
The guns in the original games would share ammo pools if they were of the same caliber, the article described a simplified pool by class of weapon.
So now rather than separate 5.45mm and 5.56mm you have "assault rifle ammo". It sounds minor, but one of the aspects of STALKER has been inventory management and making the choice when to main one caliber. At least for me. Hence my waiting on mods.
As for the minimap, the article is describing an additional always on compass with quest markers in the style of the modern Fallout games. I hope to be able to turn that bit of visual clutter off, and also hope that the game isn't designed so much with the assumption I'm using it that I can't find objectives without it.
Russian media: "The powerful and manly Russian Navy has sailed right up to the cowardly Amerikkka NATO degenerates, and they did nothing! They fear the might of Russia, just as their mercenaries in Ukraine fear it! All hail the T-14!"
It's true that it's an imperfect measurement, but it is the closest to a useful illustration that I have.
I'm trying to avoid the whole one upping thing while just warning that if Sriracha is given an example of peak spicy, I'd caution to start slow on Korean hot foods that are labeled with extreme packaging. Not saying don't try, but small bites to check instead of diving in.
Are you able to parse the difference between people who eat hot food because they enjoy it, and people who don't normally eat hot food being fed extremely hot food for YouTube clicks?
You might have a high spice tolerance, I don't know, but if you are exemplifying Sriracha as an example, I would suggest caution. Korean spicy food doesn't play when it says things like "2x heat!" on the package.
Sriracha is about 2200SHU, the recalled noodles are 10,000SHU.
If you enjoy Korean red paste, it's a good heat, but some people don't quite know what they are getting into. If you're used to eating 100k or 200k SHU stuff, go for it, but I know there's a lot of tolerance variation from 2k to 200k people.
It is his work, which I believe he was doing for quite a while without coherent lore to connect the thematically linked pictures. I think only since the game started actually being worked on he has been making art specifically for the lore.
