    This is the reason why most people would want to switch to EVs. The total running cost in the long run is significantly lower.

  • You are comparing apples to oranges here since this is an LFP battery while the Tesla 4680 isn't.

  • The 5 year battery warranty is good to have. Hopefully it forces other OEMs to do the same.

  • CCS2 is used in most parts of the world as well.

  • I am fairly certain you could charge any EVs with the Tesla supercharger in most parts of the world. Perhaps it's just a US thing where it's limited to just Tesla vehicles.

    The same logic can be applied to Chinese EV manufacturers.

    In contrast, other countries typically at best have only have a couple of EV manufacturers, often receiving substantial government protection akin to a helicopter parent. This lack of competition keep prices higher.
