Tut mir leid, aber wenn man jetzt schon 50k bei Bitcoin als total tiefen Boden ansieht spricht das doch im Gegenteil dafür wie stabil die Wertsteigerung ist wenn man nur (etwas) längerfristig schaut.
So now you just admitted that metric is better at least for some use cases and then the conversion to imperial causes problems. So wouldn't it be better if everyone was just using metric? Or what is the advantage of imperial?
Recently I was wondering how much my pool weights when its filled with water and I could easily calculate it in my head: 4m x 2m x 1m=8m³ -> 8000dm³ -> 8000l -> 8000kg or 8t
I actually prefer not to stack it completely but just put in the beginning of the lane (which are separated by metal bars) so the next person doesn't have to go all inside the lane to take their cart (they can be several meters). It's still tidy in its lane and the next person bringing back a cart can just push mine forward with theirs.
“It wasn’t Hitler or Himmler who deported me, beat me, and shot my family. It was the shoemaker, the milkman, the neighbor, who were given a uniform and then believed they were the master race.”
That was almost literally what the german chancellor recently said. Roughly translated: we already deported a lot of people but we still have this problem with "how it looks in the cities" (Stadtbild).
It's a huge improvement for sure. But I also have to say most "underdeveloped" countries have better infrastructure than how it was before. I would have hardly called it infrastructure. It was just an area with asphalt and some paint.
