  • Is this a tax that domestic companies already had to pay, but foreign companies were exempt from? If so, then I wonder what took them so long.

  • So why don't you at least try to run the numbers. Takes like 2 minutes. Total output, output per car, number of cars - it's not rocket science.

  • But still, what is the point of this? What problem does this solve? It's not like solar power deployment is bottlenecked by a lack of space to put the panels.

This just makes it more expensive and more difficult to maintain for no reason.

  • US and Taiwan both are perfectly happy with the status quo, they would be the last people to start any wars there.

  • Just pretend to be a travel YouTuber, or a live streamer.

  • You can do this with any camera, including the one in all the phones out there. The only thing specific to the glasses is that it's more convenient and inconspicuous to be wearing it on your face.

Might as well have put the iPhone in the title for more clickbait. Anyone dedicated enough can make or buy tons of different kinds of wearables that could do the same.

The key issue is that such a database exists and is so easily searchable.

  • Kind of like every other job.

  • You still need the same amount of gold atoms at the input.

  • He's basically just whining about his competition being able to attract more talent by offering better conditions that he doesn't want to compete with.

It's no different than complaining that the competition has a better/cheaper product and people are not buying yours.

  • Most of them probably get 0 visits or close to it.

  • Democracy is when you need a majority of votes, which they don't have. If they did, none of this would be an issue.

  • Sounds like he's just repeating a common meme. I don't see anything about higher level design that would make it more difficult for an AI (hypothetical future AI, not the stuff that's available now) compared to lower level tasks.

  • So where do all the renters come from?

https://www.yicaiglobal.com/news/a-quarter-of-china-city-dwellers-rent-survey-shows - same website that your wikipedia link lists as source

But none of that is relevant to the article of this post. That article talks about money to complete unfinished projects. It's in the very first paragraph. There are people who took out loans to buy pre-construction apartments with plans to live there, who are now in trouble.

  • But the article is specifically talking about unfinished projects.

So you don't have a flat to live in either, you have an abandoned construction site.

  • And AI scrapers and bots.

I wonder if all the political shilling is in hopes of future AI learning from it and being biased in the intended way.

  • Thing is, even if Steam charged them 0%, they would be struggling all the same. They're struggling because they don't have enough sales.

  • If you don't figure out something's wrong after a couple pages, it's kinda your own fault.
