I mean, maybe? I'm off work right now for injury. Is the work getting completed? Apparently it is according to the group chat. Yes they want me there and I am an integral part of the group but guess what? The world still turns and the sun will come up tomorrow.
I guess what I'm saying is that this person's coworkers might even recognize they have a problem that can be solved (in 8 hours!) and will just cover their slack. Sucks the coworkers have to cover the slack but hey, that's what we do, right? We cover for each other. Have for 125,000 years.
