  • I went to Comicon one year, thinking it would be amazing. It was just a swag den and a 10 hour line to see Stan Lee.

It was then I realized that San Diego Comicon doesn't move around to different cities and "Comicon" is just a name cons take.

  • If the electorate consisted of 9 people who were doing fine, and one person that wasn't, we would have 9 no votes and one person that voted to destroy the system that allowed the 9 to be doing fine.

  • I thought so, then they voted for Trump. Did they actually want this or did they not know?

  • Pros/Cons:

    -No more student loans

    -No more endless IEP reports

    -No more standardized education criteria

    Thoughts?

  • Sort of like how they erased all the evidence of "Sinbad's Shazaam" and then gaslit everyone that remembered it?

  • We need to pay politicians MORE money. Everyone is like, no they should be paid $3.50/year cause they don't do shit, but if you have to support yourself, own a second house in the capital city, and pay a bunch of people to do the initial campaigning (signature gathering to get on the ballot, set up the first rounds of fundraising); WHO can do that? Only rich people. Working-Class people cannot afford to become candidates.

  • I feel like you are inventing the concept of an endowment from first principles.

  • I was comparing it to how Iran caused a situation that cost Carter the election, just like this time.

  • Iran releases hostages now that Regan has been elected.

  • If you want a divorce, now you have to have fault (sex). This is the people pushing this only chance to have it (men and women).

  • No, hearing voices and seeing things and not knowing whether they are true or fake hallucinations is a perfect description of RT.

  • I got a sentence in the top 4: "Good. Time. Watching. Porn."

  • There are two bright sides to this (and dark sides as well):

-This will decrease demand of Chinese goods in the U.S., hurting a country that is ... problematic to say the least. (Anyone remember the Uyghurs? The O.G. Gazens?) It probably won't shift demand back to the U.S. factories, but maybe it is time for another country to become the slave-labor-ish manufacturing capital of the world.

-When the prices skyrocket, along with food from all the missing immigrant farm hands, Trump will get blamed. I just hope this wasn't the plan all along and those "fake" inflation hikes back after covid weren't to cover for the real ones down the road.

  • Trump is just nominating people he can remember or saw on TV at this point, isn't he?

  • The only evidence of the "grand gay conspiracy" people keep talking about is the existence of bath-tub (multi-user) urinals.

  • Hallmark boss: "So a anti-Trump women comes back home for Christmas, and meets a Pro-Trump man. Something something, they fall in love and the woman falls in love and forgets her hatred. I - I mean we - just need to fill in that middle step. Please, figure out what that middle step is! My wife left me and I don't know how to cook!"

  • No, we had a plan TO DEAL WITH COVID. Your boss threw it in the trash and millions died.

  • Except there’s not enough demand for that many license plates so they’ll switch to literally selling their labor

The college I work at use to have prison labor. Then the roads department ran out of people willing to have streets, so we lost them to road paving. With 3% unemployment, there is incredible demand for prison labor. And this is under Biden, though I don't expect 3% to hold long after Trump gets in.
