  • Biden deported from places that wanted to deport people, like Texas. Trump is focusing on places that restrict cooperation with ICE. They have/had the same man power to do the deportations. Of course Trump's numbers are going to be lower.

  • Energy independence should just be renamed foreign-free energy

  • Trump: "If food prices are so high, what if we just... keep all the food here? That will bring them down, right?"

  • Wasn't Missouri the place where Rush Limbaugh's cousin saw the words on the amendment: "Allow abortion", said "This amendment clearly allows kids to get sex changes" and then went "No one was informed that they were supporting child sex change when they signed, so I call fraud and I'm striking the amendment from the ballot."

Then the people running the amendment campaign told the state supreme court: "We didn't tell anyone that this would support child sex changes because it doesn't. We have no idea what crazy pills Limbaugh is on," and the state supreme court was like: "Ya, he is an idiot."

Sounds like the legislator's "clarification" is just a continuation of this "let's tie trans stuff to abortion" theme.

  • Just once I would like to have a Republican senator running on an ultra-conservative platform get elected and the reveal they are secretly an ultra-progressive.

  • Blue states should do it to and unilaterally cut police budgets and corporate welfare.

  • Live honey trap coverage: A protest with no other goal but be "antiTrump" planned by the CIA to get a list of targets is going off without a hitch. Soon facial recognition will learn the identity of the most easily swade parts of the anti Trump population.

  • We will deport them to Greenland!

  • Trump said he was going to raise the price of Canadian and Mexican things by 25%, then he didn't do that.

Wouldn't that improve your opinion of him?

  • Just don't buy meat directly - especially if you are hungry for bat and live in China.

  • Biden is no longer there to stop the Senate democrats from doing the right thing.

  • Bill Clinton warned of detention space restrictions. Wanted to expand the space. Congress said no.

Bush filled them up to the point that the UN started to call it a crime against humanity. So he release a bunch right before Obama took office.

Obama got blamed for one of the Bush releases murdering someone. He requested more space - but congress said no. So, he decided instead of randomly releasing people, he would just released all non-criminals (until their application hearings). That freed up space until his second term. During his second term he again requested more space, and congress said no. So he released all the non-violent criminals to make room to put more violent ones in.

Trump comes to power for the first time, and starts kidnapping (immigrant) children as a way of scaring off immigrants. Once that was deemed illegal, he was at a loss until COVID. With COVID, he started the "apply on your side" policy forcing asylum seekers to return to the Mexican side of the border before applying for asylum. This, of course, was not law but an "emergency" order for COVID times. This cleared out some space.

Biden took over and kept the "apply on your side" policy. Once COVID was gone, he asked congress for more room. Congress, at the behest of Trump, said no. So he declared a "border emergency" and reinstated the "apply on your side" policy.

Trump returned somehow. Congress passes the "Laken-Riley act", an act to put the non-violent criminals back in custody. Basically how it was during Obama's first term before they ran out of room. Yes, it does make sense - even Obama thought so, but you have to have room. And when Trump runs out, what are the odds that congress says yes this time?

  • Step 1: Remove all the inspector generals

Step 2: Gain access to the U.S. treasury payment system

Step 3: Lock out all the rest of the treasury staff

Step 4: Impose a 25% Tarriff on your largest trading partners

    Step 5: Profit!

Step 6: Realize Trump backed down on the Mexican Tarriffs because the president of Mexico called and stroked Trump's ego.

  • If you can use AI in a way that people at the AI company can't tell that you used AI, then they need you working at that AI company.

  • But you don't say them as three- unless you are N-ee-P-ee-A-rr (six syllables)

  • The only thing I care about with the under-writers is that the get the word "Carnegie" as in "Carnegie hall" right.

The number of times I've winced when they say they are supported by the car-NEY-gee (three syllables) foundation instead of car-na-gie (one syllable) foundation ...

  • I remember asking why one of my favorite philosophers went by G.K. Chesterton instead of just G. Chesterton. Turns out, his cousin of the same name was more popular at the time and G.K. didn't want people to confuse him with his cousin: the 1920s leader of the British Nazi party.
