I spent a year in Brazil and met many people who lived in favelas. They always said that favelas were very safe, except for when police would raid them...and then they were very unsafe. This is just rich people killing poor people.
To all these people saying God will protect them (and i grew up in Jamaica and have met many of those people)...God stopped paying attention to us long ago. Be smart. Be safe. God is not watching over us, and will not protect us.
