  • My point is that the only people who voted in that primary were Democrats, which is not a party of progressives, nor do they represent the average US American

  • They have more lawyers than you

  • Because Bernie isn't a democrat. He's a progressive.

Democrats want people that are corrupt and favor policy for rich people and big businesses

  • I think you underestimate the class consciousness of the average US American.

Most people who can vote, don't vote. Give them a progressive candidate, not some obvious corporate puppet, and people will elect them.

  • People want to eat (the rich)

  • He also got pathetic votes. If he had a progressive against him (at the televized debates, on all ballots), he would have lost by a landslide

  • Sure, but zoom out. I think the vast majority of people watched it over-and-over in sheer glee.

And later slept much better, knowing that a horrible person spreading hate was no longer

  • Yes, it needs to be public. The videos too.

    Take my money.

  • Nope. That's exactly why Hilary lost.

  • I can't understand why anyone would waste time writing code that won't be shared

  • That kills collaboration from new people who just, like, discovered your project on some Lemmy thread

  • Oh, I'm not defending a specific instance. I'm merely pointing out that there does exist a time and place where people should be allowed to dress as despicable characters from history

  • Can we get a progressive tho?

  • So we're not allowed to make movies that show the horrific history of Nazi Germany?

  • You mean Charlie Kirk getting shot in the neck?

  • Well that kinda kills collaboration

  • Yes baby, I always tap dat globe

  • Kinda annoying that I can't move the globe up because moving my finger downwards refreshes the page

  • Can we ban posting images of text here?
